Treatwell Spa Of The Month Competition Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before you participate in the Treatwell Spa of the month competition (the “Competition”) as these will apply. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not participate in the Competition. Please note that our Terms & Policies as set out at https://www.treatwell.co.uk/info/terms-of-use/will continue to apply to your use of https://www.treatwell.co.uk/ the “Website”) and the Treatwell marketplace application (the “App”) and to any bookings you make on either the Website or the App. The promoter of the Competition is Treatwell (t/a Treatwell), Treatwell, Fairfax House, 15 Fulwood Place, London, WC1V 6HU. (“Treatwell”).  

ELIGIBILITY: The Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Entrants must successfully like the post, tag someone, and tell us why they’d like to win to be eligible to win. The Competition runs every month on the last day of the month for 7 days. There will be 1 winning entrant in total each month (the “Winner”). The winning entrant and the tagged friend will each be winners. Likes and comments/tags must be made on the original post from Treatwell for the entrant to be eligible to win and any likes, comments and tags made on a copied or shared post or otherwise not made on the original post will not be counted. The Winner will be drawn 7 days after the competition is launched. The Competition excludes employees of Treatwell and the supplier involved and their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected to the Competition. The Winner may be asked to provide proof of ID. No purchase necessary. Entries made from trade, consumer groups, third parties, agents, or entries automatically generated by computer will not be accepted. No bulk entries.

THE PRIZE: The Winner will be eligible to receive a spa day for 2 (which, from time to time and at the discretion of the supplier, may include any extras as specified in the competition post) (the “Prize”). There is 1 Prize per month available to win; the Winner will be randomly selected from the entries on the Facebook or Instagram post.

The Prize must be redeemed through Treatwell within 6 months. The Prize may not be redeemed in conjunction with any other offer. No cash alternative is available.

The date on which the Prize can be redeemed will be  subject to the availability and specific terms and conditions of the Partner where the Prize will be given. Should the Winner wish to choose a treatment higher than the value of the Prize, they will be responsible to fund the difference to reach the total amount of the booking. It is the Winner’s sole responsibility to communicate in advance of receiving the Prize any medical or health-related conditions and/or special needs of the recipient(s) of the Prize that might affect or be affected by the Prize (for example without limitation, allergy information and health issues). Subject to these terms, if the Winner (or any other  recipient of the Prize) fails to disclose any such information to the spa, neither Treatwell nor the spa shall be liable to the Winner (or other recipients of the Prize) for any injury, loss or damages resulting from the Prize that could reasonably have been avoided had the Winner (or other recipient of the Prize) disclosed that information prior to receiving the Prize.

WINNER SELECTION: The Winner will be selected in a random draw after the 7 days since the launch of the competition. He/she/they will be announced as the Winners on the original post after 7 days. The Winners must respond within 7 days of the winner announcement on the original on Facebook or Instagram post in order to accept the Prize, after which the Prize will no longer be open to acceptance and will be offered to someone else. The Winner must respond with their full name, email and postal address in order to receive their prize. Failure to provide an address within the UK will result in the Prize being forfeited. The redemption of the Prize is subject to availability and is subject to change at the discretion of Treatwell and the spa.

DATA PROTECTION: If you choose to participate in the Competition and are selected as the Winner, Treatwell will ask you to submit your full name, email address and postal address. If you do not have a Treatwell account you will be required to set one up prior to receiving your Prize and must inform Treatwell of the email address which you have used to sign up. The personal information will be collected, processed and used by Treatwell as data controller in accordance with Treatwell’s Privacy & Cookie Policy which can be found here: https://www.treatwell.co.uk/info/privacy-policy/. By entering the Competition and providing the personal information listed above, you agree to receiving communications regarding the Competition and your Prize from Treatwell.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Treatwell cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of entries due to technical problems or network difficulties. Proof of sending does not constitute proof of delivery. By participating in the Competition, you agree that you participate at your own risk. Except that Treatwell does not exclude or limit its liability for personal injury or death caused by its negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that may not, by law, be limited or excluded, Treatwell accepts no liability in relation to an individual's participation (or inability to participate) in the Competition to the maximum extent permitted by law, including any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or any other type of damages related to or arising from the Competition or your participation in the Competition.

SEVERANCE: If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these Terms and Conditions shall be unaffected and remain in force.

GOVERNING LAW: The Competition and these Terms & Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. You and we each agree that the English courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim or dispute arising from, or related to, the Competition or these Terms & Conditions.
